Parenting 201 will delve into the emotional aspects of parenting. This program provides a group of parents (6-12 participants) a safe environment to explore their emotional reactions and work on creating new thoughtful responses. While Parenting 101 focuses on the teens and their issues Parenting 201 focuses on you, the parent.
This group is facilitated by a certified Life Coach and is not counseling or therapy. Rather, it is a unique opportunity for parents to step back and see how their emotions and intellect work together in their parenting.
Prior to each session you will receive a questionnaire which will serve as the framework for the upcoming session.
Each session will be 1.5 hours, meeting four consecutive weeks. Topics may carry over from one week to the next allowing for additional discussion.
Articles on the various topics will be handed out at the end to supplement the session.
