"I think the most important thing I will take away from (the Parenting 101 classes) is how important it is for us, as parents to continue to "get in the way" of our children. It is what I feel like I have been doing, but then I sometimes felt like I was being too over-protective. It is reassuring to know that I am not alone, and that what I am doing is not only okay, but actually encouraged by people who have already been through this. I have also expecially enjoyed learning from other parents what things have worked for their families. It almost makes me wish we had a group that met (regularly) to discuss situations that arise with our teens, just to hear how others have dealth with similar issues."
--Colleen Salazar

"I feel lik emy husband and Ii do a good job of rasing our kids, but there are so many things out there in the world today that we need to be aware of."

--Bobbie Young

"This class has equipped me with words that I can use to raise a healthy teenager. I feel very informed and empowered."
