Facilitator
Facilitate the Parenting 101 class to a group of 5-12 parents.
Time Commitment: Facilitators must first attend a Parenting 101 Class. The next step is to participate in a 2.5 hour training.
Handbook Committee Member
Select "issues" of interest and help Operation: PARENT make sure the information in the handbook reflects the latest trends, misconceptions, and warning signs. Consider "real life" scenarios that can be added plus recommended resources.
Time Commitment: Handbook revisions must be submitted by June 1, 2011.
Video Committee Member
Operation: PARENT will be producing its very first 30 minute video this year. Experience in video production required.
Time Commitment: Minimum of a one year commitment with frequent meetings initially, gradually tapering off to monthly meetings.
Book Club Leader
Pick one of our Parenting books and lead a small group.
Time Commitment: Flexible |
Client Services (Sales) AssistantHelp OP get our Sales Program up and running. Provide administrative support to sales staff (enter prospect lists, process orders, provide customer service) or help sell our Parent Handbook and program to parents, churches, businesses, etc.
Time Commitment: Part time position;
flexible days/hours, can work from home
Volunteer Coordinator
Be the "face" of Operation: PARENT for new and long standing volunteers. Provide initial interviews, facility tours and encouragement throughout the year. Help plan one special Volunteer recognition event during the year.
Time Commitment: Flexible; set appointments to accommodate volunteer
Resource Room Coordinator
Re-organize current resources, recommend new resources, maintain resource room, and communicate available resources to parents.
Time Commitment: Flexible
