Leadership Letters

Dear OP Friends,

As I reflect on 2025, one word continues to come to mind: INSPIRED!

In a year marked by economic uncertainty, shifting priorities, and challenges facing families across the country, I have been continually inspired by the resilience of parents and the unwavering support of people like you.

At Operation Parent, we believe that strong families build strong communities. And while the challenges facing today's parents continue to evolve, one thing remains constant: parents are still the greatest influence in their children's lives.

Throughout 2025, we had the privilege of equipping and encouraging parents, educators, healthcare providers, faith leaders, and community partners through our newly launched website, our updated Parent Handbooks, expert-led monthly webinars, blogs and more.

All of these are designed to strengthen families and spark meaningful dialogue… because we know that when conversations begin, connections deepen, and lives change!

What gives me even greater hope is where we are headed. We know parents want trusted information, practical tools, and encouragement available in the moments they need it most. That is why in 2026 we are investing in development of the Operation Parent App.

This exciting new platform will place our trusted parenting resources, conversation starters, timely guidance, and community support directly into the hands of parents – giving them access wherever they are. Our goal here is simple: to make it easier than ever for families to access the tools they need to navigate today's challenges and to have those casual, courageous conversations with their children.

While the technology is exciting, we are not just building an app - we are building connections!

As Operation Parent celebrates 20 years in 2026, I am more optimistic than ever about the road ahead. The need has never been greater, but neither has our opportunity to make a difference.

To our donors, partners, volunteers, board members, and friends: thank you. Your generosity, encouragement, prayers, and belief in this mission make every resource distributed, every conversation started, and every family reached possible.

With gratitude and hope,
Darrell Bramer
Executive Director

Leadership Letters

Dear Valued Partner and Supporter,

It is my honor as a Board Chairman to mark a notable milestone for Operation Parent. As we celebrate 20 years of service, we find ourselves reflecting not only on the foundations we have built, but on the vital and relevant mission that continues to drive us forward: “To empower parents and caregivers to have casual, courageous conversations with their kids.”

We firmly believe that these everyday conversations remain one of the most powerful, proactive forms of prevention available in our culture. At Operation Parent, we exist to promote family flourishing. To ensure we remain effective in this mission, the last twelve months have been a season of intentional, critical structural transformation. We have refined our focus to galvanize clarity in everything we do, ensuring that we employ our precious resources to be as impactful as possible.

Below are a just few examples of the fruits of the team’s labor:

Expanded Accessibility: We have translated our practical webinars into Spanish, breaking down language barriers to reach more families. We have revitalized our website for greater ease in navigation.  Significant expansion of our topical webinars, and enhanced mobile access to our handbook, we are meeting parents where they are—in the palm of their hands.

Strategic Reach: We are aggressively expanding our presence into critical spheres of influence, including partnerships with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Association of School Boards, ensuring that our guidance reaches those who shape the environments where our children grow.

Impact: We continue pursue methods to gauge our mission effectiveness.  Our recent focus has been on embedding QR codes in our materials, along with webinar feedback surveys, along with direct engagement with parents. We strive to make our materials parent-focused.

Whether you are a parent, teacher, physician, coalition, or administrator, we look forward to partnering with you over the next 20+ years to help families thrive. None of our work is possible without you. Please reach out and let us know how we can better serve.

We are most grateful for the opportunity.

Peace,
Glenn White

I would tell someone who's never been able to attend an Operation Parent webinar to get ready for a lot of knowledge and a great resource to put in your skills belt because everything that I've learned with Operation Parent I've been able to utilize and share with my community, the youth that I work with, and my own children.”
